What to Expect in Each Session
Every Story Steps class follows a familiar, nurturing structure that helps children feel safe, confident, and excited to join in
Welcome Song
Every session will begin with a reassuring and familiar hello song. Children will learn and join in with this each week. It sets a positive tone and helps even the shyest of children to feel included.
Story Role-Play
Through interactive storytelling, children step into the world of imagination — acting out characters, exploring emotions, and moving with purpose.
Guided Movement & Music
Using scarves, ribbons, or themed props, children explore rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through dance.
Calm-Down Time
Every session ends with soft music and gentle stretching helping children learn to relax. This enables a focus on a smooth transition into the remainder of their day after a familiar goodbye song.
